Advice About Bank Accounts
A word of advice always have two different Business Bank Accounts, not with the same bank, one with some money in and one that you trade day to day.
If your day to day Bank Manager gives you a hard time and cuts your overdraft, you try and open another account, you have absolutely no chance. If you have one with money in you can change over immediately, it may add slightly to your bank charges, but it is worth it.
It has saved my bacon a few times, one bank ended up refunding me £13.5K and that was some time afterwards, but without the second bank to go to, I would have been bankrupt.
Now the banks are worse than during the last recession, having that much money taken from my account over a three month period was very nearly terminal and then not getting it back for eighteen months was a serious problem.
